DIETERICH -- Dieterich High School trailed Effingham St. Anthony 1-0 until the fourth inning, tied the score and then tallied seven in the fifth for an 8-1 baseball victory Friday.
Dieterich had five hits led by M. Hunzinger with a double and P. Britton with two singles and two RBI.
St. Anthony had only two hits, singles by K. Fearday and A. Webber.
Dieterich's Hunzinger threw a two-hitter with one walk and six strikeouts.

Teutopolis tallied six hits and scored six runs in a 6-3 victory over Woodlawn Friday.
The Wooden Shoes took a 2-0 lead in the second inning and never looked back.
Evan Addis had two singles and drove in three runs while Mitch Hemmen had two singles and one RBI.
Mitch Hardiek went six innings, allowing three runs on three hits, one walk and striking out nine. Luke Ungrund came on to finish the final inning, allowing one hit and striking out two.
The Wooden Shoes are now 10-2 on the season.

Altamont blanked Neoga, 12-0 as two National Trail Conference teams clashed Friday.
Altamont moved ahead 4-0 in the second then had an eight-run third.
H. Cripe had a single, home run and three RBI while B. Stuemke had a single, double and an RBI. A. Kopplin had a double and N. Teasley a double and an RBI. K. Eirhart contributed two singles and drove in three runs.
Neoga was led by Moore, Romack, Roy and Kingery with a single each.
Eirhart went the distance on the mound, allowing four hits, one walk and striking out six.

North Clay (Louisville) came calling and remained unbeaten in National Trail Conference play with a 3-1 win over South Central Friday.
The Cardinals edged out to a 1-0 lead in the second then tacked on two in the third. South Central's lone run came in the fourth.
North Clay had three hits led by C. Burkett with two singles and an RBI. T. Jones threw the four-hitter with one walk and six strikeouts.
South Central was led by H. VanScyoc with two singles and an RBI.

WSS had eight hits led by R. Rincker with a double and two RBI. C. Kinkelaar had a single and drove in three runs while R. Walden and S. Vonderheide had a single and drove in two runs each.
Rincker led on the mound, going all five innings, allowing one run on four htis, one walk and striking out 10.
A. Weber led CHBC with a double.
