The Los Angeles Dodgers clinched their seventh consecutive National League West title Tuesday night with their win over the Baltimore Orioles. The Dodgers clinched on their 146th game, which was their earliest ever.
Twins Place Buxton On IL
The Minnesota Twins have placed outfielder Byron Buxton on the 60-day injured list with a left shoulder subluxation, which effectively ends his season. Buxton will undergo surgery and the team hopes to have him ready by spring training.
Brewers' Yelich Out For Season
Milwaukee Brewers MVP Christian Yelich is out for the season after fracturing his right kneecap in last night’s win over the Miami Marlins. Yelich was injured in the top of the first inning when he fouled a pitch off his kneecap.
