The Los Angeles Dodgers broke the National League record for home runs in a season as Joc Pederson hit a pair against the Colorado Rockies Wednesday night. The Dodgers have hit 250 homers on the year, breaking the Houston Astros previous record of 249, which they set in 2000.

Cincinnati Reds’ pitcher Michael Lorenzen picked up the win in Wednesday’s game against the Philadelphia Phillies. Lorenzen also homered and played in the outfield. The last time a player accomplished the feat was when Babe Ruth did it for the New York Yankees on June 13th, 1921.
