LOUISVILLE -- North Clay (Louisville) claimed a junior high baseball victory over visiting Altamont, 9-1 Tuesday.

North Clay took a 4-0 opening inning lead and never looked back.

Altamont had four hits by Clayton Arnold, Brock Wendling, Zach Shafer and Joel Bauer.

At Ramsey

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City moved out to a 3-0 opening inning lead then tallied seven in the second and six in the fifth for a 16-0 win in five innings Tuesday.

CHBC banged out 11 hits led by Jaxon Manley with three singles and two RBI, Wyatt Rueff with two singles and two RBI and Rylee Fisher with two singles and two RBI.

Clayton Wojcik was the winning pitcher going two innings. CHBC improves to 6-4 on the season.
