Chicago Cubs catcher Willson Contreras was placed on the 10-day injured list Sunday, but now the team says he’ll miss four weeks with a strained right hamstring. The Cubs also placed closer Craig Kimbrel on the IL with right knee inflammation.

Yankees Set Major League Record

The New York Yankees set a Major League record Monday night in their game against the Orioles at Camden Yards. The Yankees blasted five home runs, bringing their total in Baltimore this season to 32, which is the most homers hit in a single season by a visiting team in any stadium. The Yankees will likely extend the record with games tonight and Wednesday night.

Marlins call Up Isan Diaz

The Miami Marlins called up second baseman Isan Diaz on Monday and he promptly homered off reigning NL Cy Young winner Jacob deGrom of the New York Mets. The best part was that his family was in the stands watching the game and were being interviewed on TV when he homered, sending them into a frenzy on live television.
