Mariners' Dee Gordon Placed On IL

The Seattle Mariners have placed second baseman Dee Gordon on the 10-day injured list with a strained left quadriceps. Gordon said he strained the muscle rounding first base during Monday’s win over Texas.

Gooden Arrested On DUI Charges

Former major league pitcher Dwight Gooden has been arrested on DUI charges for the second time in six weeks. The latest incident occurred Monday night in Newark, New Jersey after he was stopped for driving the wrong way on a one-way street. Gooden says he plans to enter rehab in order to save his life.

Dodgers Unveil Plans For Renovations

The Los Angeles Dodgers have unveiled plans for a $100 million stadium renovation project to modernize their ballpark ahead of next year's All-Star Game. Dodger Stadium is the second-oldest ballpark in the National League and they say the renovations will be done in time to start the 2020 season.
