Yelich Out of Tonight's All-Star Home Run Derby

Reigning National League MVP Christian Yelich of the Milwaukee Brewers has pulled out of tonight's All-Star Home Run Derby with a back injury. Yelich will play in the All-Star game, but he’ll be replaced in the derby by Oakland Athletics slugger Matt Chapman.


Angels' Lucroy Carter Off Field

Los Angeles Angels catcher Jonathan Lucroy had to be carted off the field Sunday following a collision at home plate with Houston Astros base runner Jake Marisnick. Lucroy was taken to a hospital to be evaluated for a possible concussion and broken nose. Marisnick was called out for initiating the collision.
