Nationals Make Major League History

The Washington Nationals made major league history Sunday when Howie Kendrick, Trea Turner, Adam Eaton and Anthony Rendon hit consecutive home runs against the San Diego Padres. The Nationals became the first team in major league history to hit four straight homers twice. They also did it on July 27, 2017, against Milwaukee
Met's Cano Back On IL
The New York Mets have placed second baseman Robinson Cano back on the injured list. Cano missed 12 games with a left quadriceps issue before returning last Wednesday, but was removed from that game after re-aggravating the injury.
Former Red Sox' Ortiz Shot
Former Boston Red Sox star David Ortiz was shot in the lower back in the Dominican Republic Sunday. Ortiz was shot while hanging out at a nightclub and initial reports said that it happened during a robbery, but that apparently was false. Following surgery, doctors said Ortiz was out of danger.
