Cubs, Craig Kimbrel Agree To Three-Year Deal

The Chicago Cubs and free agent closer Craig Kimbrel have agreed to a three-year deal. The deal is said to be worth around $45 million.


Mets' Cano Pulled From Game

The New York Mets’ Robinson Canó left in the fifth inning of last night’s 7-0 shutout of the San Francisco Giants. Canó had just come off the injured list from his strained left quadriceps and was pulled due to tightness in the muscle.


Indians' Carrasco Diagnosed With Blood Ailment

The Cleveland Indians will be without starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco for awhile. Carrasco has been placed on the non-baseball, medical condition list after being diagnosed with a blood ailment. The team says they don’t know how long Carrasco will be out, but he is expected back this season.


Giants Place Posey on 10-Day IL

The San Francisco Giants have placed All-Star catcher Buster Posey on the 10-day injured list with a right hamstring strain. Posey injured his hamstring running out a grounder Saturday.
