Orioles Make First Selection In MLB Draft

The 2019 Major League Baseball draft got underway Monday. The Baltimore Orioles made the first selection and chose Oregon State catcher Adley Rutschman.

Dodger's Urias Undergoes Counseling

The Los Angeles City Attorney's office says it won’t file domestic violence charges against Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Julio Urias. However, Urias was ordered to undergo a 52-week domestic counseling program and stay out of trouble for the next year. Urias could still face disciplinary action from Major League Baseball, which continues to investigate the incident.
