Dieterich Blanks Neoga In Baseball

Dieterich High School stepped out to a 5-0 first inning lead then had a seven-run fourth in blanking Neoga 12-0 in five innings of baseball action Tuesday.

The Movin' Maroons had nine hits in the contest led by Evan Bohnhoff with two singles and three RBI, Derek Kuhl and Lucas Hall with two singles and an RBI each and Matthew Hunzinger with a double and an RBI.

Bohnhoff picked up the pitching win on a two-hitter with no walks and six strikeouts.

Neoga's hits were singles by Chase Lanham and Adam Fearday.
