Oakland Signs Davis To Extension

The Oakland Athletics have signed Khris Davis to a contract extension. The new deal adds $33.75 million to his current deal and keeps Davis with the team through 2021.

Red Sox Place Pedroia On Injured List

The Boston Red Sox have placed Dustin Pedroia on the injured list. Pedroia has again injured his left knee, although the team doesn’t feel the latest injury is significant. Pedroia had just been activated after missing virtually all of last season.
