St. Anthony High School senior Blake Niebrugge has signed to play college baseball at Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington.

Niebrugge plays outfield for a Bulldogs team that is off to a red hot start this spring, having lost just once in eight games. He is also pitching for St. Anthony and both he and Bulldogs Coach Tony Kreke feel Niebrugge could be a two-way player at Wesleyan.

Niebrugge said he plans to major in Computer Science in college. He is the son of Dan and Toni Niebrugge.
