Mariner's Suzuki To Start

The Seattle Mariners will start Ichiro Suzuki when they open their season against the Oakland A’s tomorrow in Tokyo. The
45-year-old Suzuki has struggled in spring training, but was promised an opening day spot in front of his countrymen.

The Boston Red Sox say that Dustin Pedroia will begin the season on the injured list. Pedroia is coming back from a left knee injury and while he says he’s ready to go the team doesn’t want to take any chances.
