EPD Baseball, Softball Registration Now Going On

Now is the time to register for Effingham Park District summer baseball and softball.

The boys' leagues with a March 1 registration deadline are Pony League for second-graders, Tomorrow's Stars Khoury League for third and fourth grades, Little League for fifth and sixth grades, Prep League for seventh-grade and Junior Babe Ruth League for eighth, ninth and 10th grades.

The girls' leagues with a March 1 deadline are Girls Minor for second and third grades, Girls Prep for fifth and sixth grades, Girls Junior for sixth and seventh grades and Girls Senior for eighth, ninth, 10th and 11th grades.

Cost to play for these leagues are $35 for residents and $65 for non-residents.

The leagues with an April 26 sign-up deadline are Boys Small Fry for kindergarten and first grades, Girls Small Fry for kindergarten and first grade and T-Ball for four and five year old boys and girls.

Cost to play for these leagues are $25 for residents and $57 for non-residents.

The EPD will accept registration after the deadlines and a $10 late fee will be assessed if there is still room in the league. Use the grade that the child is currently in when completing registration.
