The New York Mets and free-agent infielder Jed Lowrie have agreed on a two-year, $20 million deal. Lowrie recorded 23 home runs and 99 RBIs with the Oakland A's last season.

The Oakland Athletics and reliever Ryan Buchter have avoided salary arbitration and agreed to a $1.4 million, one-year contract. Buchter more than doubled his 2018 salary of $555,000.
