Sabathia Agrees To One-Year Contract

CC Sabathia has agreed to a one-year, $8 million contract to return to the New York Yankees. The deal is pending the results of a physical following a postseason scope of his right knee.

 

Astros' McCullers Undergoes Surgery

Houston Astros pitcher Lance McCullers Jr. underwent Tommy John surgery Tuesday and will miss the 2019 season. McCullers pitched five postseason innings, but later revealed he was pitching "through some stuff."
