Cardinals Re-sign Adam Wainwright

The St. Louis Cardinals have re-signed pitcher Adam Wainwright to a one-year contract. Wainwright spent a big chunk of the 2018 season on the disabled list due to a right elbow injury and has made just 68 starts in the last four seasons.

Giant's Beckham Fined

The New York Giants have fined Odell Beckham Jr. for comments he made last week questioning the team's heart and play selection. Beckham didn't apologize or take back his comments, and said he thinks it had a positive effect on the team. However, another fine could be coming Beckham’s way as he left for the locker room before the final play of the first half of last night’s loss to the Eagles and didn’t return to the sideline until after the second half kickoff.

Rangers Conduct Interviews For Manager

The Texas Rangers have conducted their first interviews in the search to replace fired manager Jeff Banister. The Rangers have reportedly interviewed Chicago Cubs bench coach Brandon Hyde, Houston Astros bench coach Joe Espada and their own assistant general manager Jayce Tingler.
