CHICAGO -- The Milwaukee Brewers came to Wrigley Field and left celebrating as they downed the Chicago Cubs 3-1 to win the National League Central title Monday.

It's win-or-go-home tonight at 7.
The Cubs struggled offensively again. This time garnering only three hits. The lone run came off an Anthony Rizzo homer in the fifth. The only other two hits were singles by Javier Baez and Daniel Murphy.
Meanwhile, the Brewers delivered with 12 hits while pitchers were controlling the Cubs. The Brewers held a 1-0 lead in the third before the Cubs tied in the ffith. But two runs in the eighth provided the win.
National League Most Valuable Player candidate Christian Yelich had three hits and an RBI. Lorenzo Cain hit the tiebreaking RBI single in the eighth.
If the Cubs win Tuesday, they would face the Brewers in Game 1 at Miller Park Thursday.
Angels' Ohtani Underwent Tommy John Surgery
Los Angeles Angels pitcher and designated hitter Shohei Ohtani underwent successful Tommy John surgery Monday. While Ohtani won’t be able to pitch in 2019, they say he will be able to serve as a designated hitter at some point in the season.
