Effingham St. Anthony High School blanked St. Elmo/Brownstown in baseball action Tuesday, 11-0. The contest ended in the fifth via the 10-run rule.

The Bulldogs edged out to a 1-0 first inning lead then tacked on four in the third and six in the fourth.

Kaden Fearday led the way in hitting with two singles, a double and two RBI. Blake Niebrugge chipped in with two singles and an RBI. Gavin Braunecker added a double and two RBI.

SEB was led by Bryton Pruett, Nate Philpot and Nick Rosborough with a single each.

St. Anthony's Colin Koester picked up the pitching win going three innings, allowing two hits, no walks and striking out six. Dylan Guy came on to throw the final two innings, allowing one hit and striking out one.

At St. Anthony

At Louisville

North Clay (Louisville) edged out to a 1-0 first inning lead and went on to beat Altamont, 7-4 in action Tuesday.

The Cardinals had a five-run third inning. H. Clifton had a double, home run and two RBI for the winners while T. Jones had a solo homer. B. Ingram added a double and an RBI and H. Clifton had a single and three RBI.

Altamomt was led by N. Teasley with two singles and an RBI and A. Bigg with a double and an RBI.

At Louisville

South Central stepped out to a 5-0 first inning lead on Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City and went on to win in five innings via the 10-run rule, 11-0.

C. Dodson had a single, home run and two RBI for the winners. A. Patten had a single and three RBI.

CHBC had three hits, all singles by Q. Schlanser, M. Manley and W. Radloff.

Lotz was the winning pitcher on the three-hitter with one walk and five strikeouts.

At Kinmundy

Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg tallied two runs in the third inning and that's all the Hatchets needed in a 2-1 victory over Neoga Tuesday.

Greuel was the winning pitcher. He also helped the WSS cause with a single while Kinkelaar and Bennett had a single each.

Neoga was led by Keller with a double and Moore with a single.
