Schumacher Orthodontics and Dairy Queen claimed victories to advance to the title game of the 11-12 Year-Old League Tournament at McDevitt Field Tuesday.

Schumacher edged Arrow Pest Control, 6-5. Schumacher held a 4-2 lead in the first inning and led 5-3 going into the fifth. Arrow tied at 5-5 but Schumacher came back with the winning run in the top of the seventh.

Both teams had three hits. Schumacher was led by Spencer Fox with a double and an RBI and Beau Adams with two singles and two RBI.

Arrow had three singles from Devin Kreke, Charlie Wegman and Henry Thompson. Wegman and Thompson had an RBI each.

In the second contest, Dairy Queen stepped out to a 7-2 opening inning lead and never looked back in a 15-3 victory over NAPA.

Braxton Lewis was the winning pitcher on a two-hitter. Lewis aided his own cause with two doubles.

Aden Eirhart had two singles, a double and two RBI while Justin Kollman had two singles and an RBI.

Braden Verdeyen led NAPA with a double.

Schumacher will now meet Dairy Queen at 7:30 p.m. today for the championship. Arrow Pest Control and NAPA meet for third place at 5:30.
