The Teutopolis Jaguars trailed Mid-Illinois Concrete 5-4 after two innings but took a 6-5 lead in the third and went on for a 13-5 victory in Prep League baseball action Thursday at Evergreen Hollow Park.

The Jaguars had nine hits in the contest led by Caleb Siemer with a single, double and two RBI, Caleb Bloemer with a double and Connor Hartke with two singles and two RBI.

Conor Wines and Griffin Sehy had a single each for Mid-Illinois.

In the second game, Effingham Asphalt held the Teutopolis Regulators to one hit in taking an 11-6 victory.

The Regulators held a 2-0 lead after one but the score was tied at 5-5 after four. The Regulators moved ahead in the top of the fifth but Asphalt tallied two in the bottom of the frame and finished out with four in the sixth.

Asphalt had 12 hits led by Kienon Eirhart with a single, two doubles and an RBI, Zeke Rippetoe with three singles and two RBI and Nick Wiedman and Dalton Davis with two singles and an RBI each.

The lone hit for the Regulators came from Tyler Schwerdt who knocked out a two-run homer.
