Elks edged out to a 2-1 lead in the fourth inning then had a four-run sixth to beat Heritage Builders in Tomorrow's Stars Khoury League action at Mike Sehy Field Thursday.

Both teams had five hits. Elks was led by Chase Starkey with a grand slam home run in the sixth. Keegan Koester had a triple while Caden Tarin had a double and two RBI.

Eric Utz led Heritage with a double and an RBI.

In the second game, Tingley Insurance edged Dan Hecht, 10-8 despite being outhit 10-4.

Hayden Busher and Brody Boehm had a single, double and three RBI each for the winners.

Cole Phillips had two doubles and five RBI for Dan Hecht while Wyatt Hayes had a single, triple and two RBI, Evan Klingler a triple and Weston Hayes a double.

11-12 Year-Old League

Arab Pest Control took an 11-0 first inning lead and tallied a 20-3 win over Northside Ford in 11-12 Year-Old League action at McDevitt Field Thursday.

Arab had a nine-run third inning. Hunter Stewart, Dillon Hankins, Zach Donaldson, Rylan Pals, Jackson Denton and Nathan Ohnesorge had a single each for the winners. Denton had two RBI while Donaldson, Pals and Ohnesorge had one each.

Charlie Ring led Northside with a double and two RBI.

In the second contest, Whitetails Unlimited took a 7-3 lead into the fourth then led 8-7 in the top of the sixth. But Dairy Queen came back for a 9-8 victory with two runs in the bottom of the sixth.

Braxton Lewis had the lone extra base hit for Dairy Queen with a double. Justin Kollman chipped in with two singles.

Noah Biggs had a double for Whitetails while Andrew Brandenburger added two singles.
