KINMUNDY -- South Central High School edged Odin in baseball action Wednesday, 2-1.
The Cougars took a 1-0 lead in the third inning. Odin tied in the top of the fifth but South Central came back right with a run in the bottom of the inning and held on for the win.
The Cougars had six hits in the contest led by Dodson with a single and double, Matheny with two singles and an RBI and McCown with a double. Blomberg also drove in a run with a single.
Matheny threw a three-hitter with three walks and nine strikeouts.
Odin's three hits were singles by Smith, Friend and Jolliff.
