Junior Babe Ruth League -- June 22

Drs. Sehy & Jones Optometrists claimed a 6-5 win over Tri-Power Towing in Junior Babe Ruth League action at Paul Smith Field Thursday.

Sehy & Jones edged out to a 1-0 first inning lead then tacked on another run in the second, two in the third and two in the fourth. Tri-Power scored three in the third and one in the seventh.

In the second contest, Wohltman Construction blanked Washington Savings Bank 10-0 in five innings. Washington Savings tallied two in the second then had a seven-run fourth and finished out with one in the fifth.

Jayden Rios threw a one-hitter for the win. Cole Marxman led in hitting with a single, double, triple and four RBI.

The lone hit for Washington Savings Bank was from Braeden Quandt with a single.
