Whitetails Unlimited edged Kingery Printing 9-8 in 11-12 Year-Old League competition at Community Park Wednesday.

Kingery Printing took a 3-0 lead in the second inning. Whitetails tied in the top of the third but Kingery forged ahead 4-3 in the bottom of the frame.

Whitetails then had a six-run fourth to lead 9-4. Kingery Printing came back in the bottom of the inning with four runs only to fall short.

Whitetails had four hits, all singles by Colby Haynes, Andrew Brandenburger, Noah Biggs and Brandon Davis. Haynes, Biggs and Davis had an RBI each. Biggs was the winning pitcher on a one-hitter.

Noah Dill had the lone hit for Kingery with a single.

In the second game, Schumacher Orthodontics tallied a one-run victory over Dairy Queen, 11-10.

Josh McDevitt pitched a two-hitter for the win. McDevitt aided his own cause with a single, double and an RBI. Gaige Gillum and Kaiden Nichols had a double each. Nichols drove in a run. Jackson Pals had two singles and two RBI.

The two hits for Dairy Queen were singles by Justin Kollman and Aden Eirhart. Eirhart had three RBI and Kollman one.
