The T-town Warriors pounded home 19 runs on 10 hits in a 19-1 victory over Mid-Illinois Concrete Thursday evening. The action was in the Babe Ruth Prep League at Evergreen Hollow Park.

Mid-Illinois Concrete held a 1-0 lead after one inning before the Warriors broke loose with a five-run second, an eight-run third and a six-run fourth.

Althoff threw a no-hitter while teammates banged out nine hits. Konkel had a single and double while Kemme and Burrell had a double each. Tegeler added two singles and an RBI.

In the second game, the T-town Falcons downed Effingham Asphalt 10-3. The score was knotted at 2-2 after two innings. The Falcons then took a 6-2 lead in the third and went on for the win.

Sam Bushur and Connor Siemer had a single and a double each for the winners while Brenden Niebrugge added a double and Ethan Mette two singles.

Joe Matteson led Asphalt with a double.

Junior Babe Ruth League

Drs. Sehy & Jones Optometrists tallied a 7-5 win over Washington Savings Bank in the lone game played in the Junior Babe Ruth League at Paul Smith Field Thursday.

Sehy & Jones had nine hits led by Dylan Overbeck with a single and double. Adam Fearday had two singles and three RBI while Hunter Stephens had two singles and two RBI and Kaden Eirhart two singles. Overbeck threw a two-hitter.

Noah Trimble had a single and three RBI while Coliln Waymoth had a double and an RBI for Washington Savings Bank.
