Babe Ruth Prep League -- June 13

Taylor Law Offices blanked Dieterich 15-0 in Babe Ruth Prep League action at Evergreen Hollow Park Tuesday.

Taylor Law opened with a six-run first then tacked on four in the third and five in the fourth. Ethan Ritz threw a two-hitter.

Max Nelson had a single, double, triple and drove in five runs for the winners. Luke Romack had a triple and two RBI and Ryan Smith a double.

Bryce Budde and Noah Dill had a single each for Dieterich.

In the second contest, Mid-Illinois Concrete downed Effingham Asphalt 7-5. Mid-Illinois took a 2-1 first inning lead then added on two more in the third and three in the fourth. Concrete had to hold off a final inning challenge by Asphalt.

Gabe Eaton threw the one-hitter. Mid-Illinois had five hits led by Gabe Eaton with a two-run homer, Dalton Fox with a double and Nick Burgess with two singles.
