Washington Savings Bank tallied a 6-1 victory over Sehy & Jones Optometrists in Junior Babe Ruth League play at Paul Smith Field Monday.
Washington Savings scored a single run in the fourth then had a five-run sixth. Both teams had six hits.
Washington Savings was led by Braeden Quandt with three singles and an RBI.
Sehy & Jones was led by Hunter Stephens with a double and Dylan Overbeck and Adam Fearday with two singles each. Fearday added an RBI.
In the second contest, Tri-Power Towing trailed Wohltman Construction 4-1 until the bottom of the fourth then broke loose for seven runs and went on for a 9-6 victory.
Tri-Power had six hits, all singles by Andy Niebrugge, Hunter Cripe, Nathan Lohman, Riley Allen, Eli Moore and Nathan Barnes.
Wohltman had 10 hits led by Cole Marxman with three singles and two RBI, Jett McMillan with two singles, Jackson Lee with a double and Kyle Pemberton with a single, double and an RBI.
