Dairy Queen opened the 11-12 Year-Old League play with an 11-5 win over Beck's Hybrids. Dairy Queen broke a 2-2 tie with two runs in the second then led 6-2 until the sixth when five runs came home.
Will Hoene had a single, two doubles and drove in a run for the winners. Kaidyn Miller had a double and two RBI, Dylan Fleener three singles and an RBI and Tyler Schuppert a single, double and two RBI.
Colton Loy led Beck's with a double and an RBI.
In the second contest, Schumacher Orthodontics claimed a 16-8 win over Whitetails Unlimited.
Schumacher tallied four runs in the second to break a 2-2 opening inning tie. Whitetails pulled within 6-5 in the third then took an 8-6 lead in the top of the fourth. Schumacher came back in the bottom of the frame with six runs and tallied four more in the fifth.
Schumacher banged out 14 hits in the game led by Gaige GIllum with a double, triple and an RBI, Josh McDevitt with two singles, two doubles and three RBI, Beau Adams with two doubles and three RBI, Nick Wiedman with a single, triple and two RBI, Clayton Arnold with a double and Spencer Fox with two singles and three RBI.
Jordan Jones led Whitetails with a double and two RBI.
