LOUISVILLE -- North Clay (Louisville) High School stepped out to a 3-0 first inning lead and went on to beat Cisne 10-8 in baseball action Monday.

Cisne came back with a five-run third to lead 5-4. But the Cardinals tallied three in the fourth to push ahead 7-5. Cisne then tied in the top of the fifth but once again North Clay came back with a three-run fifth and held on for the victory.

Repking had a single, double and three RBIs for the winners while Jones had a triple and Repking had two singles. Burkett had a single and three RBI and Blank a single and two RBI.

Flora edged Newton 3-2 in action Monday.

The Eagles took a 2-0 lead in the first inning. Flora tallied one in the second and moved ahead with two in the fourth for good.

Flora had 10 hits in the contest while Newton had five. Newton was led by Bierman with a single, double, triple and an RBI.
