Effingham St. Anthony edged Dieterich 3-2 in eight innings Tuesday at Paul Smith Field.
The Bulldogs took a 1-0 lead in the second inning. Dieterich tied in the third and moved ahead 2-1 in the fifth. St. Anthony then tallied a run to knot the score at 2-2.
The game went into the eighth. Cole Hoene was hit by a pitch. He was sacrified over to second by Ethan Greene. Joseph Kabbes drew a walk before Austin Kline hit a single, scoring Hoene for the winning run.
Kline finished with two singles for the Bulldogs and an RBI.
Dieterich was led by Ryan Radloff with two singles, Callaway Campton with two singles and an RBI and Paul Thoele with three singles.

Altamont scored in five of the seven innings in downing Neoga 11-4 Tuesday.
The Indians took a 2-0 lead in the second inning and had 14 hits in the contest. Kolby Pemberton banged out three singles, a double and two RBI for the winners. Caden Miller added three singles and a double. Denver Duckwitz and Wyatt Vaughn had two singles and two RBI each.
Neoga was led by Hill with a single, double, home run and one RBI while Ramert had a single, double and two RBI and Yurs two singles.
Neoga drops to 4-4 in the National Trail Conference, 5-6 overall.

Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg banged out 12 hits and scored 14 runs in beating Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City 14-1 in six innings Tuesday.
WSS edged out to a 2-1 first ining lead then moved ahead 3-1 in the fifth. The Hatchets broke the game wide open with an 11-run sixth.
Nic Hutchinson had two singles, a double and an RBI for the Hatchets while Ted Kessler had two singles, Derek Moschenrose a triple and two RBI, Issac Kramer a double and two RBI, Josh Overbeck a double and an RBI and Trevor Quast a double and two RBI.
CHBC was led by Doty, Grove and Stoldt with a single each. Stoldt drove in a run.

North Clay (Lousiville) hosted South Central and sent the Cougars home with a 13-3 loss in five innings via the 10-run rule.
The Cardinals had 12 hits in the contest and were aided by five South Central errors.
Repking played power ball, hitting two doubles, a home run and driving in five runs. Aldrich had two singles, a double and an RBI. Bloemer had a double and two BI and VanDyke a double and one RBI. Jones added two singles.
South Central was led by Matheny with two singles and two RBI. The Cougars finish the NTC season with a 6-2 record.

Brownstown/St. Elmo improved to 6-8 on the season with a 9-6 victory over Odin/Patoka.
Odin/Patoka took a 1-0 lead in the second and pushed that to 4-0 in the third. BSE came back with a six-run fourth. Odin/Patoka tied the score at 6-6 in the fifth. BSE pushed across two more runs in the sixth and one in the seventh.
Dalton Denton picked up the pitching win on a seven-hitter with four walks and four strikeouts.
Isaac Maxey had two singles and a double for the winners while Landon Feezel had a single, double and an RBI and Rocky Himes two singles and three RBI.
