Junior High Baseball Regional Scores -- Sept. 21

Teutopolis Junior High School won its own Class 2A Baseball Regional Wednesday by downing North Clay (Louisville), 11-1.

The game ended in the fifth due to the 10-run rule. T-town took a 3-0 first inning lead and never looked back.

Addis was the winning pitcher, going four innings, allowing one hit, four walks and striking out six. Deters came on to throw the final inning, allowing one hit, one run and no walks.

Konkel had two singles, a double and drove in a run for the Shoes. Addis had a double and two RBI and Ruholl a double and an RBI.

Bible and Weidner had the two singles for North Clay.

T-town now advances to its own sectional Saturday and will face Cumberland at 11 a.m. Cumberland won the Class 2A Shelbyville Moulton Sectional Wednesday with a 5-1 victory over Sullivan.
