Junior High Baseball Regionals Results -- Sept. 20

Effingham St. Anthony's season came to a close with an 8-6 loss to Dieterich in the Class 1A St. Anthony Baseball Regional Tuesday.
The game began Monday and was played to a 6-6 tie before the game was called and finished Tuesday.
Dieterich now advances to the Findlay Okaw Valley Sectional and will face Okaw Valley Saturday at 11 a.m.
At Sigel
Okaw Valley came out the champion in the Class 1A Sigel St. Michael Regional Tuesday.
Okaw Valley handed Stewardson-Strasburg/Windsor a 13-3 loss. Okaw Valley held a 4-2 lead in the third. SSW pulled within 4-3 in the fifth. But an eight-run sixth put the game away for Okaw Valley.
Stew-Stras/Windsor had five hits by Kinkelaar, Wernsing, S. Vonderheide, Walden and Kirby.
Okaw Valley now faces Dieterich in the Findlay Okaw Valley Sectional Saturday at 11 a.m.

At Teutopolis
North Clay (Louisville) advanced to the championship of the Class 2A Teutopolis Regional with a victory over Brownstown/St. Elmo.
North Clay won 11-6 and will now face Teutopolis today at 4:30 p.m. for the regional championship.
At Shelbyville
In the Class 2A Shelbyville Moulton Regional, Sullivan was a 7-3 winner over host Shelbyville Moulton Tuesday.
Sullivan advances to face Cumberland for the regional championship today at 4:30.
At Altamont
Altamont Lutheran defeated Patoka 6-4 in the SIJHSAA Region 6 Altamont Lutheran Regional Tuesday.
In the opening game, Aviston blanked Raccoon 19-0 while Odin won over Central City 15-4. Selmaville edged Sandoval 9-8.
Altamont advances to the semifinals against Selmaville at 5:30 p.m. Thursday. In the opening game Thursday, Aviston will take on Odin at 3.
The championship game is scheduled for Saturday at 3 p.m.
