Altamont, N. Clay, Neoga, BSE Nab Baseball Victories

LOUISVILLE -- North Clay (Louisville) High School did what no baseball team has done this season.  The Cardinals handed Teutopolis its first loss of the fall, 3-2 Thursday evening.

North Clay tallied all three of its runs in the third inning. Repking kept the Wooden Shoes scoreless through the first four innings. T-town finally broke loose with two runs in the fifth but that's all the Shoes could score.

Repking finished allowing six hits, two walks and striking out three to pick up the pitching win.

North Clay had nine hits led by Jones with a single and double, Bloemer with two singles and an RBI and Lovett with a double. Repking and VanDyke had a single and drove in a run each.

T-town was led by Cody Jansen with two singles.

T-town dropped to 14-1 while the Cardinals improved to 9-7. The Shoes are back in action Saturday in the North Clay Showcase and could get their revenge when they face the Cardinals at 5 p.m.

At Louisville

At Mulberry Grove

Altamont High School pounded Mulberry Grove 12-1 in five innings via the 10-run rule Thursday.

The Indians stepped out to a 6-0 first inning lead then had a run in the second and five in the third.

Altamont pounded out 10 hits in the game led by Alek Biggs with a single, double and three RBI, Wyatt Vaughn with two singles and three RBI, Jake Finn with two singles and an RBI and Kaleb Whitt with two singles and an RBI.

Whitt threw a three-hitter with three walks and nine strikeouts.

At Mulberry Grove

At Neoga

Neoga edged out to a 1-0 lead in the third inning but Dieterich came back with a two-run fourth and a two-run sixth to lead 4-1. That's when Neoga put it all together.

The Indians tallied four runs in the bottom of the seventh to pull out a 5-4 victory.

Jimmy Woods and Layne Andrews were the hitting leaders for the Indians with three singles and an RBI each. Clayton Butler had two singles. The Indians improved to 4-1 in the National Trail Conference, 4-2 overall.

Callaway Campton led the Movin' Maroons with two singles and two RBI.

At Neoga

At Brownstown

Brownstown/St. Elmo's Landon Feezel threw a no-hitter Thursday guiding his team to an 8-0 win over Ramsey.

Feezel allowed four walks and struck out 14. Feezel also came up big at the plate with two singles, a triple and an RBI.

Also leading BSE were Nate Philpot with a single and double, Hunter Strauch with two singles and three RBI and Dalton Denton with two singles.

BSE claimed the Egyptian-Illini Conference regular season title with a 3-0 record and stands at 3-6 overall.

At Brownstown
