S. Central Beats Altamont, WSS Downs Odin

ALTAMONT -- South Central High School didn't score until the third inning when it tallied two then scored three in the fifth and three more in the sixth for an 8-2 win over Altamont in baseball action Wednesday.
The Cougars had 10 hits in the contest led by Geiler with two singles and three RBI, Markley with two singles and an RBI, Davis with two singles and Matheny with a double and an RBI.
Altamont's runs came in the bottom of the seventh. The Indians were led by Kaleb Whitt with a single and double and Alek Biggs with two singles.

Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg and Odin went scoreless through two innings before the Hatchets broke free with three runs and went on for an 8-0 win.
Nic Hutchison pitched a two-hitter for WSS with two walks and 15 strikeouts.
Chase Thies had two singles, a double, home run and two RBI while Derek Moschenrose had three singles and two RBI and Hutchinson a single, double and an RBI.
Odin's hits came from Belcher and Smith with a single each.
