Junior High Baseball -- September 2

Effingham downed Dieterich 12-3 in junior high baseball action Friday.

The Mustangs had a 9-1 second inning lead. Raddatz had a double, triple and an RBI for the winners while Cunningham had two singles, a triple and two RBI.

Ruholl led Dieterich with two singles, a double and an RBI.

Effingham is now 6-3 on the season.

Sigel St. Michael came calling at Stewardson-Strasburg/Windsor and captured a 10-0 victory.

St. Michael tallied a run in the third, two in the fourth and fifth and five in the sixth for a 10-0 victory over SSW. Croy pitched a no-hitter with four walks and eight strikeouts.

Ruholl, Niebrugge and Croy had two hits each. Ruholl drove in four runs and Niebrugge two.

Christensen led BSE with two singles.
