Effingham St. Anthony bounced Dieterich 11-4 in junior high baseball action Friday.
The Bullpups held a 4-0 lead after four innings then had an 11-run sixth to end the game. Antrim picked up the pitching win on a one-hitter with four walks and eight strikeouts. Mendella came on to throw the final inning, allowing four runs on no hits, five walks and one strikeout.
Reardon had a home run and three RBI while Mendella had two singles and two RBI.
Dieterich was led by Bridges with a single.

Troy Sherwood stepped out to a 4-1 lead on Effingham and went on to claim a 6-1 victory Friday.
Troy Sherwood had nine hits led by Rios with a single, home run and five RBI. Sebby pitched a one-hitter.
The Mustangs lone hit came from Lee with a single.

Teutopolis blanked Lawrenceville 11-0 in five innings via the 10-run rule.
T-town scored four in the third, two in the fourth and ended the game with five more in the fifth.
Wermert had a single, double and drove in three runs while Hardiek had two singles. Ruholl picked up the one-hit pitching win, allowing no walks and striking out four.

North Clay (Louisville) stepped out to a 3-0 first inning lead and never looked back in a 15-5 win over South Central.
Bible picked up the one-hit pitching win with five walks and two strikeouts in three innings.
Ingram had a single, double and three RBI while Burkett had two singles and three RBI, Bible two singles, Dawkins two singles and three RBI and Ballard a double and an RBI.
South Central's Thompson had the lone hit, a single.

SS/W stepped out to a 4-0 first inning lead. Kinkler and S. Vonderheide had two hits each for the winners. Kinkler pitched a no-hitter with three walks and 10 strikeouts.
In a Saturday contest, Stew-Stras/Windsor defeated Okaw Valley 14-6 to improve to 2-1 on the season.
Kasey and Kirby had three hits each for the winners while Kirby added an RBI. Kinkler had two hits and three RBI, S. Vonderheide two hits, Wernsing two hits and four RBI and Beals two hits and two RBI.
Wernsing pitched a no-hitter with five walks and eight strikeouts.
