Effingham Asphalt Wins Babe Ruth Prep League Title

Effingham Asphalt captured the championship of the Babe Ruth Prep Baseball League Tournament Wednesday. Asphalt downed Mid-Illinois Concrete, 6-5.

Eli Moore picked up the pitching win. Asphalt had four hits led by Hunter Cripe with a single and double and Nathan Barnes with two singles.

Trey Brummer led Mid-Illinois Concrete with a double and an RBI.
