11-12 Year-Old League Tournament -- July 7

Whitetails Unlimited and Kingery Printing scored big in taking 11-12 Year-Old League Tournament baseball victories Thursday at Community Park.

Whitetails blanked Northside Ford 15-0 in four innings. Whitetails stepped out to a 5-0 first inning lead and the game was over. Joe Matteson pitched a no-hitter.

Colin Kinkelaar and Matteson had a double each. Matteson drove in two runs.

In the second game, Kingery took a 3-1 lead after two innings then had four run innings in the third and fifth for an 11-3 win over Schumacher Orthodontics.

Jett Volpi pitched a four-hitter. Wyatt Cripe had a double and an RBI for the winners while Kaleb Boggs added two singles and three RBI.

Tyler Budde and Josh McDevitt had a double each for Schumacher.

The tournament continues Monday as Whitetails Unlimited will meet Kingery Printing at 5:30 p.m. followed by Kemper CPA against tBeck's Hybrids at 7:30.
