Tomorrow's Stars Khoury League -- July 5

Scott Mosher Country Insurance edged Dan Hecht 7-5 in Tomorrow's Stars Khoury League Tournament action at Community Park Tuesday.

Mosher held a 1-0 first inning lead and Dan Hecht tied in the top of the third. Mosher came back with three runs in the third and fourth innings.

Colin Sweeney and Braxton Lewis had two singles each for Mosher. Mosher will now face Elks at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

Maddox Wiedman had two singles and Braden Verdeyen a single and double for Dan Hecht.

In the second contest, Tingley Insurance handed Rotary a 4-2 loss. Rotary held a 1-0 lead until the fifth when Tingley tallied four runs.

Brodie Belcher had two singles for the winners. Nathaniel Gracey pitched a four-hitter.

Tingley advances to face Brown's Drug Store Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
