Effingham had the bases loaded in the ninth with no outs but could not score the winning run. The game ended in a 2-2 tie.
Ryan Sandifer, Parker Sechrest, Joseph Kabbes and Kendall Ballman all had hits for Effingham.
"It was a great experience for the kids playing on the Notre Dame field on the campus," said Coach Chris Koester. "We could see touchdown Jesus from the field and it was also pretty amazing playing a team from Canada."
