Chase Green Hired as Assistant Coach at McKendree

Effingham High School graduate Chase Green has been hired as assistant baseball coach at McKendree University in Lebanon.

Green officially began his duties with McKendree this past Monday. He had been working as assistant baseball coach at SIU Edwardsville, where he attended school and played baseball. Following his graduation, Green was named assistant coach.

A new coach was recently hired at Edwardsville. Chase's father, Howard, said Chase could have stayed at Edwardsville, but decided to make a fresh start at McKendree. He has already been recruiting for the Bearcats.
