Babe Ruth Prep League Action for Thursday 6-23

Effingham Asphalt and Mid-Illinois Concrete were the Babe Ruth Prep League winners Thursday.

Effingham Asphalt won over Teutopolis Jaguars 13-3, while Mid-Illinois Concrete defeated K. Wohltman Construction 13-3.

Asphalt scored three times in the first, six times in the second and four runs in the fourth to post the win. Jaguars scored a run in the second inning and added two runs in the third.

Conner Weber got the win.

Mid-Illinois scored in every inning; single runs in the first, third and sixth; three runs each in the fourth and fifth; four times in the second. Wohltman scored twice in the first, once in the fourth, and three times in the sixth.
