Junior Babe Ruth League -- June 21

Drs. Sehy & Jones Optometrists claimed a 6-1 victory over Midland States Bank in Junior Babe Ruth League play at Community Park Tuesday.

Sehy & Jones edged out to a 1-0 lead in the second inning. Midland States tied the score in the top of the third but Sehy & Jones came back to lead 2-1 in the bottom of the frame. S&J then tallied a run in the fifth and three more in the sixth.

Both teams had four hits. Kendall Ballman had the lone extra base hit of the contest with a triple for Sehy & Jones.

In the second game, Washington Savings Bank won a forfeit game over Tri-Power Towing due to Towing not having enough players. The game was played with the statistics below.
