Babe Ruth Prep League -- June 21

The Teutopolis Falcons handed K. Wohltman Construction a 12-4 loss in Babe Ruth Prep League action at Evergreen Hollow Park  Tuesday.

The Falcons took a 4-1 first inning lead then had a two-run second and a six-run third. Derrek Deters had two singles, a triple and two RBI for the Falcons. Dylan Overbeck and Sam Bushur had a double and an RBI each.

Kennan Walsh had a single, double and an RBI for Wohltman while Eli Moore had two singles and two RBI and Luke Swingler had a double and an RBI.

In the second game, Taylor Law Offices edged Mid-Illinois Concrete 14-11. Mid-Illinois held a 6-2 opening inning lead and pushed that to 8-2 in the second. Taylor Law came back with a seven-run third, a three-run fourth and a two-run fifth.

Issac Walk had two doubles and drove in three runs while Austin Faber had two singles, a double and three RBI. Matthew Loy contributed two singles and an RBI for the winners.

Ben Thompson had a single, double and an RBI for Mid-Illinois.
