Tri-Power Towing tallied runs in the first four innings as it downed Midland States Bank 12-1 in Babe Ruth Junior League play at Community Park Wednesday.

Tri-Power edged out to a 1-0 first inning lead then had an eight-run second, a two-run third and a one-run fourth. Bryson Wall pitched a no-hitter.

Tri-Power had six hits led by Arren Byers with a single, double and one RBI and Kiefer Bathe with a single, double and two RBI.

In the second contest, Washington Savings Bank edged Drs. Sehy & Jones Optometrists 7-6 with a run in the top of the eighth inning.

The two teams were tied at 1-1 in the second inning. Washington pushed ahead with a run in the top of the fifth but Sehy & Jones came back to move ahead 3-1 in the bottom of the frame. Washington Savings then had a four-run top of the sixth to lead 6-3. But here came Sehy & Jones again with three runs to tie the score in the bottom of the inning. Neither team scored in the seventh.

Isaac Kramer led the winners with a double, triple and an RBI.

Kaden Fearday and Aaron Kirby had a double each for Sehy & Jones while Kendall Ballman added two RBI.
