Babe Ruth Prep League -- June 9

T-town Falcons handed Taylor Law Offices a 13-2 defeat in five innings of Babe Ruth Prep League action Thursday at Evergreen Hollow Park.

The Falcons took a 3-1 first inning lead then had four-run innings in the second and fifth. Derek Deters pitched a two-hitter.

Andy Niebrugge had two singles, a double and two RBI while Sam Busher had a single, two doubles and three RBI. Dylan Overbeck had a double and drove in a run.

In the second game, Mid-Illinois stepped out to a 3-0 first inning lead but K. Wohltman Construction came back to move ahead 4-3 after five innings. Mid-Illinois then tallied four in the sixth for the 7-4 win.

Grant Wolf pitched a one-hitter. Ben Thompson had two singles while Ben Pitcher and Logan Antrem had a double each.
