Dieterich Blanks Ramsey in Baseball Action

DIETERICH -- Dieterich High School edged out to a 2-0 first inning lead, had a four-run second and single runs in the fourth and sixth to blank Ramsey 8-0 in baseball action Thursday.

The Movin' Maroons had seven hits in the contest and was aided by three Ramsey errors. Campton had three singles for the winners while Thoele had a single and drove in three runs and McClain had a single and an RBI.

McClain went four innings, allowing two hits, no walks and one strikeout. Esker went the final three innings, allowing three hits, no walks and striking out three.
