Winkler Placed On Disabled List, Awaits MRI Results

Winkler was placed on the 15-day disabled list Monday. This comes as no surprise, as Winkler has been diagnosed with a fractured right elbow and is out indefinitely. This development could keep him out a good chunk of the season given his history of elbow issues in recent years, but things should become clearer when he and the Braves decide what route to go in order to get him healthy again.
